At the end of the DOF unit you should have
-A contact sheet showing your DOF field practice
-A blog post with your 5 favrite DOF photos
•Controlling Exposure In order for an image to be captured on film, it must be exposed to light. The camera has two settings that control light, and they work very similar to the human eye.
The Shutter: The shutter blocks all light from exposing the film UNTIL you press the button. Then it quickly opens and closes, giving the film a brief flash of light.
Longer shutter speeds = more light
Tips for shutter speed
TV Mode on your Camera is shutter speed Priority-If you don't have a B mode on your camera scroll to the end of your shutter speed and the last setting will be
Bulb.-The longer your shutter is open the more light you will be letting in your camera-When shooting in M (manual) mode consider how long your shutter is open when determining the aperture to set your camera at.
